＂592＂(西部)项目：法律援助需求量大而资源又严重短缺是西部比较突出的问题，大量符合条件的贫困当事人得不到法律援助的状况急需改变。扶持西部地区开展法律援助工作对于推动中国法律援助事业的全面发展具有重要意义。

　　 特殊群体项目：为经济困难的残疾人、妇女、老年人、未成年人以及城市外来务工人员等社会弱势群体提供法律援助，不仅可以有效地维护他们的合法权益，而且可以大大改善特殊群体的生存、发展环境，实现社会公平。

　　 个案项目：对典型的、特殊的诉讼案件提供个别项目资助。

　　 志愿者基层法律援助项目：组织法学院校优秀毕业生到我国中西部地区法律援助机构开展法律援助工作。
培训项目：为培训合格的法律援助工作人员提供资助。

　　 Subsidized Programs of China Legal Aid Foundation
　　 Program 592 (for the western area): give support to legal aid work in the western area, where there is strong demand for legal aid as well as serious shortage of legal aid resources, with a large number of parties who meet the requirements for legal aid but do not have access to it due to lack of fund. These programs, by promoting legal aid endeavors in the western area, play a significant role in the overall development of legal aid cause across China.
　　 Programs for special groups: cater for such disadvantaged social groups as the handicapped, women, elderly, minor, and floating farm-workerswhich not only effectively guarantee their legitimate rights, but also improve their living conditions and development opportunities in an achieve social equity.
　　 Programs for individual cases: provide support to individual cases which involve typical or special lawsuits.
Volunteer legal aid programs in grass roots: organize excellent graduated students of law schools to work in legal aid organizations in western areas providing legal service.
　　 Training programs: subsidize the training workshop for qualified legal aid personnel.
